When my good friend was in town, I took Julia with us for pedicures. Julia's nails were done first, and I looked over to see her, quite comfortable in her surroundings, waiting for her nails to dry.
It was a special treat for Julia (and for me!), but based on this photo, you'd think this was a routine occurrence for Julia.

A Reprieve from the COLD
This week, we've had snow, freezing rain, ice, and cold cold cold weather. Today, nature gave us the gift of a sunny, moderate, beautiful day. Kara came in from Atlanta, and we took Julia to Clemyjontri. Julia ran, climbed, ran, jumped, climbed, ran, slid and ran. She had a great time and didn't want to leave!

Shopgirl
We went shopping for new shoes for Julia (her feet are a half size bigger - 6 1/2), and we walked through Bloomingdales to get back to the car. Julia stopped to do some hat shopping.
She had such a good time that it was difficult to get her out of the store.

Lil' Monkey
Julia enjoyed her second Halloween. We did not trick-or-treat, but she had fun at a playgroup party on Wednesday. Tonight, she enjoyed seeing the big kids all dressed up. (I let her stay up a bit late to see the neighborhood kids.)
Given her disdain for hats, I thought she would immediately pull the hood off her head. Instead, she liked the monkey costume and showed no signs of wanting to remove it.

She's fearless!
I took Julia to meet a couple of friends and their kids at a local mall to play. Even though most of the kids in the play area were older, bigger, and faster than Julia, she had no fear. She crawled as fast as she could go towards the action. She loved watching the other kids and was quick to "talk" to everyone.
